Yesterday, I lost my car keys and the key to my classroom. Fortunately, my husband had accidentally picked them up. Yes, even with my big, girly, man-proof, beaded key chain, he picked up my keys. Also, I forgot to take pictures throughout the week for my Favorite Five Friday post. Maybe I am forgetting things because I’m old. Maybe I’m forgetting things because my mind is overloaded with school things. For every year that you teach, you lose brain cells. Having taught for eighteen years, I’ve lost a lot of brain cells. So, that explains the problem. I am losing my mind.
In lieu of my Favorite Five Friday, I decided to substitute something different for my Friday post. I was scrolling through my morning Bloglovin’ feed, and was inspired by Amanda’s post, “Inside my Camera Roll”. I decided to post the last five pictures of my own camera roll. At the least, these pictures will be good for a Friday laugh! Here we go….
Wow. I this is old! I really haven’t taken many pictures since I bought my new camera. When this picture was taken, my sister and I were enjoying “sister time” at Wine and Design. Painting and drinking wine make me very happy. I noticed that my hair is very similar to the lion’s mane. Hear me roar!
I created this collage on InstaFrame to post on Facebook in honor is my nephew’s eleventh birthday. My nickname for him was “Baby Pants”. There is nothing babyish about him now! It’s a little sad that time passes so quickly. I am still wearing the same sweatshirt that I wore when I was holding him as a baby. That can’t be good….
Yep. That’s correct. A big fat nothing. Are you convinced that I am losing my mind yet?
This is the unedited version of our second grade project “Insects in a Jar”. I always put pictures on my lesson plans. Since I teach elementary school, things must always be super-cutesy-wootsy. Here, life is full of unicorns and rainbows. (Yes, I almost threw-up a little, too.)
Last, this is a picture I saved from a pool website. This is the exact model we are wanting to purchase this summer. This will be my little slice of Heaven on Perkins Road.
I can only imagine what someone would think if they scrolled through my entire camera roll! Maybe that have truley lost my mind? As random as they were, these pictures provided a very accurate snapshot of my life; a life full of family, school, humor, and my home. If life weren’t random, it would be boring. And boring is just plain boring.
What would your camera roll say about you?
